由于新冠肺炎疫情，南洋美術學院(NAFA)和新加坡華人管弦樂團(SCO)的音樂家組成的管弦樂團無法組建。相反，這兩個組織將通過較小的團隊進行年度合作。這兩個團體已連續七年舉辦校園音樂會。在接受采訪時，NAFA中國器樂研究主管Sunny Wong表示，此次合作比往年更有意義，也體現了NAFA在新加坡中國音樂領域的領導力量。音樂會還將展示NAFA學生的水平。王說，學生只有一種專門的樂器，但經過訓練，他們有多種長處，并精通其他樂器。

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to put together an orchestra comprising musicians from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO). Instead, both organisations will conduct their annual collaboration through smaller ensembles. The two organisations have held campus concerts for seven consecutive years. In an interview, Sunny Wong, Head of Studies, Chinese Instrumental at NAFA said that the collaboration is more meaningful than previous years, and reflects NAFA’s strength as a leading force in Singapore’s Chinese music scene. The concert will also showcase the proficiency of NAFA’s students. Wong stated that students have one specialised instrument but are trained to have multiple strengths and are well-versed in other instruments.
